Altare - La Morra, 2001
Barolo, Nebbiolo

  • This wine is ruby-red with garnet reflections.  Intense aromas of cherry, plum, clove and cinnamon eminate from the glass.  Fresh and intense, the berry/cherry fruit is slightly offset be a slight hint of roasted citrus.  Smooth tannic structure and great balance make this wine an early pleasure.

Antoniolo, 2004
Gattinara, Nebbiolo

"The entry-level 2004 Gattinara is especially successful in this vintage. Medium in body, the wine offers up layers of perfumed fruit with excellent depth and fine overall balance. The silky tannins add to an overall impression of refinement. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2016."

Antoniolo 'Osso San Grato', 2003
Gattinara, Nebbiolo

  • Colored an intense, garnet red, the fruity nose on the 'Osso San Grato' overflows with powerful notes of black cherry, dried rose, and violet, with complexity added by a distinct note of tar.  Intensely flavored to match, the full-bodied Gattinara is austere and yet generous, with sweet and velvety tannins balanced by a long finish.

The grapes, grown in sub-acid morainic (soils originating from an ancient glacier) and volcanic (rich in minerals) soils with a southern exposure, are all hand-picked.  After being delicately pressed they are left to ferment with a 14-16 day period of maceration on the skins as the must is pumped over with automatic sprinklers.  Maturation begins in medium capacity oak barrels for 30 months, finishing in the bottle for 1 year before release.

Barolo, Nebbiolo

  • Deep, garnet red in color, the Bricco Fiasco has a fine, ethereal nose that tantalizes with fruity and spicy aromas layered under notes of tobacco and licorice.  It is warm and rich on the palate, very soft in the mouth, balancing ripe and sweet tannins with excellent freshness.

Bartenura, 2009
Kosher, Barbera d'Asti

It's on the sweet side, with fruit flavors kept alive by the decent acidity. The palate bubbles and tingles and maintains its balance.

Ceretto 'Blange', 2008
Langhe, Arneis

"Arneis is a native varietal which produces a very fruity wine with hints of pears and apples. Its fragrance and flavor are also enhanced by the small amount of CO2 kept from the fermentation, which also helps to make up for the variety’s low acidity."

Langhe Rosso, Red

“Deep ruby red, with slight garnet undertones. Rich, variformed nose, with a succession of varietal aromas strengthened by touches of spices and vanilla. An opulent structure shows immediately on the mouth, with soft, sweet tannins that leave no doubts as to its long life and unquestionable class.”

Ceretto 'Rossana', 2007
Dolcetto d`Alba, Dolcetto

"Ruby red, with a delicately vinous nose packed with flowery and fruity sensations. Its dry taste is highlighted by a slight almondy streak, which contributes clearly to its varietal character.

The Rossana vineyard, in the Madonna Como district on the outskirts of Alba, has always been considered the top Dolcetto d’Alba cru."
